The newest scheme on the Just Travel Cover panel is Avion, underwritten by the insurer AWP P&C SA, a part of Allianz Group. There’s no upper age limit for the UK, EU or Worldwide policies excluding USA/Canada and Caribbean (age limit of 75 worldwide including USA/Canada and Caribbean).

What is the maximum age limit for Avion Travel Insurance policies?
There is no upper age limit for the UK, EU or Worldwide policies excluding USA, Canada, and the Caribbean. The age limit for trips to the USA, Canada and the Caribbean is 79. However, further limits may apply depending on your medical history and the duration of your trip.
How do I make a claim with Avion Travel Insurance?
There are a few numbers you can call to make a claim, so ensure you have them handy before you travel. If you are travelling on an Avion policy and need urgent medical assistance during your trip, call the Emergency Assistance Service on +44 (0) 20 8057 3896. For all other claims, you can contact Claims Settlement Agencies Ltd (CSAL) on 01702 746549.
What does Avion Travel Insurance not cover?
Avion Travel Insurance, underwritten by AWP P&C SA as part of Allianz Group, will only cover you if you have your primary residence and a registered doctor in the UK, Channel Islands or Isle of Man. The policy does not cover if you are unfit to travel and have been advised against it by a doctor or if you are travelling with the intent of receiving medical treatment abroad. Not every loss is covered; only the losses described in the Avion Travel policy document may be covered. Please read the document carefully to understand the terms and conditions.
What is Avion’s cancellation cover policy?
If you need to cancel your holiday due to unforeseen circumstances as listed in the Avion Travel policy document, cancellation cover allows you to claim back any amounts you can’t get back from your travel supplier. For Avion Travel Insurance, you can claim up to £1,000 per insured person for Bronze cover, up to £5,000 for Silver cover or up to £12,500 for Gold cover.
Claims are subject to your policy excess, terms and conditions.
What if I change my mind about my Avion Travel Insurance?
If you need to cancel or if the cover does not meet your requirements, contact us by calling 0333 003 0021 or emailing admin@justtravelcover.com within 14 days to request a full refund.
If you request to cancel outside of 14 days, charges will apply and the insurer is not obliged to provide a refund.
Are Avion Travel Insurance and Allianz Assistance the same company?
No, Avion Travel Insurance and Allianz Assistance are not the same company, but they are closely related. Avion Travel Insurance is distributed by Just Travel Cover on behalf of the insurer AWP P&C SA which is part of the Allianz Group. In other words, Just Travel Cover handles the sales and customer support for Avion Travel Insurance policies, while AWP P&C SA is the actual insurance provider behind the cover. This partnership ensures that you receive robust support and protection during your travels.
